THE ASSEMBLY MANILA

The Assembly Manila to showcase local art and streetwear

The Assembly Manila is a gathering of visionaries, hustlers, and creatives shaping the future of Filipino street culture.

Presented by Tulco Screenprinting Supply Inc., The Assembly Manila is an event created to showcase and support local streetwear brands, Filipino artists, and artisans. The first of its kind, this event brings together exhibitors from the vibrant subcultures of streetwear and art. It will take place on August 9 and 10, from 10 AM to 8 PM at Baked Studios, Makati.  Admission is P150 per person and P100 for students.

The Assembly will feature around 40 exhibitors. The exhibitors are composed of well-loved and emerging streetwear brands, talented artists, artisans, and apparel manufacturers. These include familiar names like Artwork, Hghmnds, and The Moon Project, as well as fresh launches from brands such as Good KarmaGot Skillz, and Pursue Collective. Visitors can also shop one-of-a-kind pieces from artists and artisans, and meet apparel manufacturers and printers who can help kickstart streetwear ventures. The event also includes a gallery extension featuring original works by Filipino painters and artists.

Adding to the experience are interactive live demonstrations happening throughout the event. Visitors will have the chance to try silkscreen printing themselves, using classic water-based inks and experiencing the process hands-on. In addition, there will be special live demos by trained experts showcasing the use of special effects inks and silicone-based formulations.  Plus, guests can help create a collaborative art piece on a large art wall, adding their own touches to a shared canvas. Sewing machine demonstrations will also be available, giving visitors a hands-on chance to try sewing and explore the craft behind apparel making.

The Assembly was made for local creatives – to celebrate their style, hustle and vision.  Whether you’re looking to launch your own streetwear brand, score exclusive drops from local labels, or just support local creatives, The Assembly is where it all comes together.
