Television’s biggest night once again delivered unforgettable moments as the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards honored the finest performances and productions of the past year. From new champions emerging on the scene to history-making wins, the ceremony showcased the incredible range and power of modern storytelling on screen.
Leading the evening’s top prizes were The Pitt, crowned Outstanding Drama Series, and The Studio, which earned Outstanding Comedy Series. Meanwhile, Adolescence captured the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, solidifying its place as one of the year’s most acclaimed productions.
On the acting side, Noah Wyle (The Pitt) and Britt Lower (Severance) shone brightest in drama, while Seth Rogen (The Studio) and Jean Smart (Hacks) claimed the lead comedy honors. In limited series, Stephen Graham (Adolescence) and Cristin Milioti (The Penguin) took home top acting awards, highlighting the depth of talent across formats.
Supporting categories also delivered landmark wins, including Tramell Tillman (Severance), who made history as the first Black man to win Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Rising star Owen Cooper became the youngest male actor to win an Emmy, taking Supporting Actor in a Limited Series at just 15 years old for his role in Adolescence.
Beyond individual achievements, The Studio emerged as the night’s biggest overall winner with 13 Emmys, while Adolescence secured six. Industry giants HBO and Netflix once again dominated the landscape, tying with 30 total wins each across all categories.
