For the first time ever, Between Two Worlds: The Documentary—directed and executive-produced by Filipino-American storyteller Megan Reyes—was screened in the Philippines on October 5 at Sine Pop, Cubao. The event was organized by Ribbon Sports, founded by former Philippine Women’s National Team player Cam Rodriguez and creative producer Cyril Sindac.
The film, which follows Reyes’ journey of rediscovering her Filipino roots through the lens of women’s football, takes viewers across the Philippines and beyond—tracing the growth, resilience, and identity of the players who’ve redefined the sport for a new generation.
Alongside the screening was a powerful photo exhibit capturing the world through the lenses of Sarina Bolden and Cam Rodriguez. The collection chronicled their road to the FIFA Women’s World Cup—from intense training camps in the U.S., Costa Rica, and Chile, to the team’s historic run in Australia and New Zealand.
The event culminated in a panel discussion featuring some of the film’s key figures, including coaches Rox Dorlas, Let Dimzon, and Gabi del Rosario, who shared reflections on the team’s legacy and the growing movement for women’s football in the Philippines.
