What if there were a Street Fighter Pinoy Edition? We know exactly who we’d cast.
The trailer of the upcoming Street Fighter movie was one of the most bad-ass things to come out of 2025. Stacked cast, amazing character design, and an energetic vibe that’ll get you hyped!
And it got us thinking, “Wouldn’t it be cool if there were a Pinoy version?” So, with the help of AI, here’s a look at an alternate universe where Pinoy athletes turned into our favorite Street Fighter characters.
(Beardless) Mark Mugen as Guile

The Sambo champ, MMA champ, and ‘Physical: Asia’ contestant has become a household name in the Philippines and would make for a believable Guile. Already half-American, with big guns, big hair, and legit fighting skills to boot, “Mugen” is our Pinoy Guile.
Jamie Christine Lim as Chun Li

As a multiple-time SEA Games Karate champ, Jamie Christine Lim can crank out a 20-kick combo with ease. Always cheesin’ when she’s not fighting, Jamie seems perfectly capable of hitting the Chun Li victory pose.
Justin Coveney as M. Bison

Strong jaw, menacing mean mug, and built like a wall, Justin Coveney has M. Bison’s Final Boss energy. And while M. Bison has his “Phycho Power,” Coveney’s got his own signature move: The Jeepney Blitz!
Pauline Lopez as Cammy

This iconic character has some big (army) boots to fill, so you gotta give the role to a pro. Taekwondo Jin and SEA Games champ Pauline Lopez clearly cuts it as Cammy–spins, kicks, and flips included.
Mauro Lumba as Ryu

Who could play the iconic Hadouken king? We know a guy. Mauro Lumba is a SEA Games bronze medalist in Muay Thai and would make for an awesome Ryu. Main protagonist energy and actual fighting chops–hard to find a better fit!
Who’d you add?
Eumir Marcial as Balrog? Ray Querubin as Blanka? Let us know in the comments who you’d add to the Street Fighter Pinoy Edition!
